Matcha is a finely powdered emerald colored tea powder and the living sacrament at the heart of Japanese tea ceremony. Matcha Mane combines ceremonial-grade matcha with lion’s mane, a mushroom that also has associations with high mountain temples and meditative states. Also called the Mountain Priest mushroom, lion’s mane is now being studied for the benefits it may confer to our minds and bodies. Both matcha and lion’s mane have spirits that touch the state of our minds—try their unique combination before a long walk, while studying, or as a part of your morning ritual.
Matcha Mane contains only organically cultivated 100% fruiting body extract of lion’s mane mushroom. We never include grain-grown mycelium which means that no fillers or starches are present (ingredients in mushroom products that sometimes go unlabeled). The lion’s mane is concentrated 8:1 and third-party tested to ensure the presence of greater than 20% beta-glucans and third-party tested for microbial, pesticide, and heavy metals contaminants. Our coconut milk powder contains no additional fillers, gums, or starches, only 100% coconut.
To make: Place 1.5 Tablespoons in a mug and stir while adding 6-8 ounces of hot water. Sweeten to taste.
